The journey to medical packaging sustainability and recyclability with HPRC
Join Amcor and HPRC (Healthcare Plastics Recycling Council) for a live webinar on 19 November.
Medical packaging plays a critical role in ensuring the sterility and usability of medical devices; contributing to patient safety and ease of device use for healthcare professionals. Todays challenge is to continue to deliver on packaging performance alongside positive steps towards greater sustainability and recyclability. In this free webinar we will identify the challenges and opportunities on this journey and how collaboration is central to making progress.

Ensuring device sterility at the point of use with thermoformed packaging systems
With recent investment in our cast coextrusion capabilities, we have expanded our product line to offer DS-X forming film. Amcors multilayer DS-X film achieves high levels of transit and pin hole resistance, offering increased confidence in pack integrity and sterility. Standard nylon forming films can be replaced by a downgauged DS-X film without compromising transit resistance.
High barrier packaging materials to ensure product shelf life and efficacy
Amcor's expertise in high barrier packaging solutions are suitable for In-vitro diagnostic test components. These materials help protect against oxygen, moisture and light ensuring devices are reliable and accurate at the point of use.
From global vaccination campaigns through to patient specific treatments, range of peelable lidding systems and print service options
Amcor technology in both film and porous web lidding provides high quality peelable opening systems that will seal to a wide range of substrates. Our digital print service fulfils the service needs for very specific low volume print design requirements.
Range of pouches, bags and lids customized to suit customer requirements
Our design experts provide support and guidance to select the optimal sterile barrier solution for many different devices. Bags, pouch's and lids can be fully customised for size and shape as well as incorporating specific design or opening features. Our broad range of materials allow packs to be peeled or torn open for aseptic presentation, high strength for pack integrity or include venting for cost effective breathable solutions. Our conversion facilities operate in clean room conditions, and our digital print service fulfils the needs for very specific low volume print design requirements.
Packaging solutions delivering efficient and reliable processing with your machines Pack integrity and aseptic presentation at the point of use
Efficiency, speed and cost are critical elements for wound care packaging. Our high speed packaging solutions are designed to achieve maximum output and minimise waste. At the same time our high quality, breathable coating systems ensure seal integrity and clean peeling. For wound care products requiring higher barrier performance a range of alu laminate materials can be selected.
